Dear Exit Members

Thank you for your support during 2023 and we hope you stay with us in 2024.

This will be an exceptional year for the organisation as the Sarco will be used for the first time.

We kickstart the year with an East coast Australian tour.

This workshop begins in Melbourne on 5 February and is followed by meetings in Sydney (Rex Centre, 7 February) and the Gold Coast (Robina Centre, 9 February).

For more details see: Workshops

Podcasts are also scheduled for 2024, as are Webinars.

The first Update for the online Peaceful Pill eHandbook Essentials will focus on the use of Nitrogen, in light of the pending decision of the state of Alabama in the US to use this gas in execution.

Note – Exit remains opposed to capital punishment in all its forms.

Philip Nitschke is recently returned from the US where he gave evidence as an expert witness against the use of nitrogen in capital punishment, in relation to the slated forthcoming execution of Kenny Smith.

Philip joined Kenny’s defense team in arguing why he should not be executed using nitrogen hypoxia.

The PPeH Update will explain the hows and whys of the nitrogen death.

Over the Christmas – New Year break, the Exit office will be running at half steam as our team try and enjoy some downtime.

This may mean that emails and phone calls will take a little time to answer.

We hope you understand and we thank you in advance for your patience.

Best wishes for the new year!

Philip Nitschke & the Exit team.
