Bernhard Sutter of Exit Switzerland has died while climbing Mt Fuji
Exit International is saddened by the unexpected death of Bernhard Sutter of Exit Switzerland.
Exit International director Dr Philip Nitschke had known Bernhard for more than 15 years.
Bernhard Sutter was instrumental in launching the German edition of the Peaceful Pill Handbook back in 2011.
Titled Die Friedliche Pille, the German edition continues to be popular in countries such as Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
Not only did he organise the translation but he was supportive of promoting the book to the German-speaking world.
Bernhard had strong family ties to Japan. Exit’s condolences go to his wife and young family.
