Peaceful Pill Handbook
New Print Edition
The 24th print edition of the Peaceful Pill Handbook has arrived.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Peaceful Pill Handbook with the first edition published back in 2006.
We plan to formally celebrate this landmark later in the year. But isn’t it amazing how time flies!
For now we are pleased to announce that the new 2026 print edition is available. The reason why this is the 24th and not the 20th edition is because in some years we republished more than once.
..and, this print edition is the first to contain new information on reports of Nitrogen convulsions, Nembutal "drowning", new AI developed end of life drugs, and the drug-free DIY game changer - the Kairos Collar.
But do remember the print edition does not offer regular updates.
If you want a book that is continually updated, we advise you to look at the online edition.

Vested Interests in
Assisted Dying Law Reform
In recent days the Scottish Parliament has voted to accept 175 of over 300 proposed amendments to its Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults Bill.
The bill goes to the vote on Tuesday.
Already the Scottish law is being lauded as the most safe of any, in the whole entire world.
But whose interests are really being served here?
Exit’s new Blog explores how palliative care and psychiatry (as branches of the medical profession) have succeeded in crafting a bill that serves their interests way beyond those of the patient.
Even more than psychiatry, in the Scottish context, it is palliative care industry which comes out a strong winner.
Read our Blog to understand the backroom machinations of assisted law reform.
Exit believes the law will do little to stem the steady flow of Scots to Switzerland, and bugger the cost.
