July 2026 Update
The Kairos Kollar Snippet Recording is now available for viewing in the English (and Dutch language editions) of the online Peaceful Pill eHandbook.
The Snippet provides an update on the development process as the Kollar is about to be tested on a real, live human being.
But the testing does not involve death, a successful test leads only to the unconsciousness of the subject. This is one of the advantages of the Kollar in that it can be fully tested before use.
Plans for building your own Kollar will be published in the Peaceful Pill eHandbook before the end of the year.

Euthanasia Dutch-Style
In 2024, 5.8% of all deaths in the Netherlands were due to voluntary euthanasia (assisted dying). This compares to only 1.6% of all deaths in 1999.
This rise is explained by way of rising rates of cancer and chronic illness.
Cancer is involved in 54% of all euthanasia cases, however, the fastest growth now relates to dementia, the polypathology of (old) age-related complaints, and psychological suffering.
It is also reported that euthanasia is increasingly more visible, discussable, and accessible for people with a wide range of diagnoses.
Societal attitudes are also highlighted, with people increasingly wanting control over their own life and death.
Finally, the report highlights some concerns with the Dutch healthcare system, including the widespread opinion that being forced to move into nursing home care, remains a 'nightmare scenario' for many.
