New Exit Partnership
This month, Exit has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dutch self-help, right to die group, the Last Will Cooperation (CLW).
|
For years now, Exit and CLW have been walking parallel roads. We are the two leading organisations, globally, who believe that a good death is a fundamental human right for everyone, rather than a medical privilege for the very sick.
|
Both Exit and CLW believe that older people of sound mind should have access to the best information and, if they wish, the means of ending life in ways that are reliable and peaceful (and which do not involve the medical profession).
|
The new partnership commits both organisations to work together on practical solutions for the end of life (eg. the Sarco), as well as working jointly on making the results of the collaboration available to members of both groups.
|
Both Exit and CLW are now working towards co-hosting a conference on new end of life initiatives - to be held in Amsterdam in 2026. Watch this space.

This month, the Trump Tariffs kicked in, however, these apply only to goods (not services).

The print Peaceful Pill Handbook is a 'good’. This means (we think) that the cost of this book just got 15% dearer for US purchasers. That’s the bad news.

The Good News is that the price of the online edition stays the same. Why? Because the online Peaceful Pill eHandbook is a ‘service'.
|
So if you are considering which edition is for you, AND you are based in the US, then our advice is to subscribe not purchase and beat the tariff.
