What Next?
Will the Bill Pass the House of Lords
While the House of Commons made history this week in passing (by 23 votes) the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, the legislation will now go to the Lords where it is said that its passage is far from assured.
|
The Spectator UK has published an interesting read on the backroom politics which are taking place.
|
It was a telling sign that support was dropping away from the ‘Leadbeater Bill’ the closer it came to vote time.
|
Given the sensitivity of the British on this issue, it is anyone’s guess what will happen.
