Going to Switzerland Book
This week Exit has published an entire re-write of our popular Going to Switzerland: how to plan your final exit guidebook.
|
While the 'Swiss option' is not centre-stage for Exit (given our primary focus on self-help), we do recognise that a final trip to this Switzerland (to die) is a subject of widespread interest.
|
The new edition provides updates throughout and, for the first time, includes a section titled ‘The Trouble with Pegasos’.
|
Of course, Exit once feted this group but after several years of planning for the first use of the Sarco at their Liestal clinic, they walked away. But not before they wasted three years of planning (and expensive legal advice).
|
In retrospect, and given the mounting ethical criticisms of the modus operandi of this group, the break in the partnership was a blessing in disguise.
|
