The Scammer's Playbook Exposed
This week Exit was made aware of a sad but true story concerning an elderly Exit Member who was scammed. He was scammed not because he was trying to buy Nembutal online, but because he was seeking to order a plastic exit bag.
|
The email trail shows a sorry story of lies and deceit.
|
The one take-away from this is 'caveat emptor', or buyer beware.
|
Scams do not always involve large sums of money. They can be incremental: a small bit at a time. But it all adds up.
|
This site currently lists 503 reported scammers.
|
The email address used in this month's exit bag scam has long been listed on this site as a Nembutal scammer.

Free Information Webinar
On the eve of The Last Resort's first free information webinar, the organisation's website has launched in German, Italian and French (in addition to English), with Dutch to follow shortly.
|
This expansion to include three of the official Swiss languages gives the organisation true global reach. This linguistic expansion also means that The Last Resort (TLR) can now accept online applications in all four languages.
|
The application procedure will be discussed at the first Information Webinar which will be held on Tuesday 3 September 2024 (22.00 CEST) and chaired by CoPresident of The Last Resort, Dr Florian Willet.
|
Other issues to be covered during the Webinar include the background to setting up the new organisation, how TLR functions in regard to the Sarco, why TLR is unique in offering fee-free assisted dying.
