AI vs the Peaceful Pill eHandbook
Who has the Best End of Life Answers?
AI is challenging every aspect of life on earth.
It was only a matter of time until it became the ‘expert' on how to achieve a peaceful and reliable death at a time of one’s choosing.
In recent months, Exit has been receiving more and more questions from Peaceful Pill eHandbook readers questioning their responses from AI platforms such as Chat GPT.
This week, Exit received yet another email that goes to the heart of the problem.
Eddie had asked Chat GPT: ‘What can go wrong in suicide with amitriptyline?'
The answer he got said that simply using Amitriptyline to end life could be far from peaceful.
It is not only the nature of the question that Eddie asked the AI that skewed his answer, it is the input factors that the AI relied upon to create the answer in the first place.
Accurate, up-to-date end of life information is a ’niche market’ as they say.
This is why, at least at the current time, AI is no substitute for the specialised, detailed information of the Peaceful Pill eHandbook. And, if Eddie had actually read the February 2025 eHandbook, he would have seen that supplementary drugs are required if one uses cardiotoxic drugs like Amitriptyline to end life.
If readers have questions, the best place to ask these is in the Peaceful Pill Forums. Leave Chat GPT to what it perhaps does best: cheating at essays?
